I’m Mark Cohen, founder and CEO of Cohen Financial Group, located in beautiful Beverly Hills. For nearly four decades, I have devoted myself to the mortgage industry day in and day out, earning the distinction of being named the #1 Mortgage Broker and #1 Non-QM Originator in the United States numerous times by the prestigious Scotsman Guide annual rankings. Throughout my career I have closed over 30,000 loans totaling more than $17 billion in loan volume, along with ranking in the top 1% of mortgage brokers nationwide for 15 consecutive years.

As a lifelong Angeleno, real estate and mortgage lending have always been in my blood—primarily thanks to my mother, Gloria Shulman, whose trailblazing legacy as LA’s first female mortgage broker has deeply impacted my career, along with countless others in this industry. After attending the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and then obtaining a law degree from Loyola University, I entered the mortgage industry in the mid-1980s, partnering with my mother, and then going on to found Cohen Financial Group. My team at Cohen Financial Group is filled with highly-experienced professionals who know the industry inside and out. We’ve proudly built a longstanding reputation throughout Southern California, and beyond, as being the go-to resource to execute deals — no matter the situation or loan amount.
