Hidden Gems: Meet Angie Correa

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

The biggest struggle has been the transition from working in teams in corporate and having support in every area of the client journey to then moving to my own business and learning to do “all the things” while I bootstrap it and build.

Being part of a team has always supported my growth and the challenge of not knowing all the roles to “perfection” in building a business, did affect my belief in myself and what I could/would accomplish. This was one of the biggest lessons I learned. But now this has become my super power when working with clients when they face those challenges.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

When I really think about it, my business is an ode to my mom who raised myself and my sister on her own and we never went without. I believe this planted several seeds in me to climb the corporate ladder; start my own business and support women.

Watching my mom go back to work, learn how to drive, buy an apartment, take us on vacation and keep us in private school was like watching a Superhero. I look back now and am in awe of how she was able to do all that on her own. She never complained, never showed her stress (which I know was there) and she never stopped. The drive and determination was unlike anything I had ever experienced.

Many of my clients are successful single mom’s who are the breadwinner, the caretaker, the dreamer and so much more. They are looking to create more freedom, safety and security for their families the way my mom did for me.  It’s very close to my heart to make sure they have the support they need.

I specialize in teaching women who struggle with overwhelm and insecurity to claim their leadership. I do this by showing my clients how to implement structures that free them from being a bottleneck to their own growth thus becoming more empowered, efficient, productive and abundant. Some people have coffee, but this is what gets me up every morning.

I want readers to know that they are already Courageous, Committed and Confident and have the ability to Create Powerful Opportunities at any point in their lives.

We don’t have to “wait for the right time” or keep perpetuating the belief that “it’s too late for me.” The truth is that we have this one life and we get to change our story and the stories that people have ingrained in us.

I take an Inside-Out approach to unravel familial teachings, old programming, limiting beliefs and cultural nuances to facilitate change. We also work on sales strategies, pricing, marketing and audience attraction that is in alignment with their core values. I find it’s a perfect combination of practical work along with a strong belief of self.

I look at my clients from a 360-degree view and don’t compartmentalize their job, family or dreams for the future. The person you are in any area of your life gets to BE THE BEST VERSION that you bring to every area of your life.

That’s why this year I opened the doors for women to join a mastermind program to collaborate as they are building their life, career & business. This is open to those who have had success and feel stagnant and want to re-ignite their future. We will be launching mid year and I’m so excited to meet those who say YES to their future and step into their MASTERY!

My Intention is to support women in making the Second Half Of Their Life the BEST HALF and that’s why I am speaking on more stages, doing podcast interviews and facilitating workshops specifically geared towards women over 40 who are ready to take steps forward.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?

The characteristic that I give the most credit to is TRUST. I have had to trust in myself, my faith, my skills and the process of leaving one industry to start in another. I had to trust that everything I experienced in my life and career brought me to this point in my life to be of service as a coach and leader.

It’s this characteristic that I work on with my clients first …I want them to TRUST that I have their best interests at heart because I understand how important trust is in the journey.
